I turned my kids old play house into a coup and made nesting boxes out of re claimed timber, found some meter long troths for water and connected them upto a water butt

No problem with dogs mine are soft as a brush and the hens gang up them anyway lol its next doors bloody cat thats been a problem keep catching it stalking them
