Hi everyone! I've had Malines before and unfortunately my last 2 were taken by a fox. Now after two years and only having one predator loss I'm in the market for a trio or quad of this fantastic breed. I'm in Ontario. Close to Peterborough if anyone has any please message me! Thanks
Oh hes the best. So calm and polite to his girls. Im hoping to try and hatch a couple of his and berthas eggs just to see but im going to have to wait till my cochin gets older and goes broody. I was able to give away three of the cockerals so hes got much less pressure on him now and no more...
Boy or girl? Normaly holds its tail down others its age were crowing but non from this one. Im just stumped. Hackels and comb lead me to boy. But deminor and lack of wattles has me hen.... help anyone?
Roughly 16 weeks old..
Thanks
Hey folks I have this cute little banty cochin that id like some opinion on. Ive had it up before and very mixed reviews so heres some pictures from today. Any insight is greatly appreciated. Thanks
Looking great! Ill have to get some updated pictures of my two young ones (forget age) turns out the one I was sure of being a pullet is a cockerel and the one we swapped is a pullet. So looks like ill be haveing a malines chicken dinner!
Theres a good colouring difference between the two lines... excited to see them grown to compare and interesting to see what the mutts will end up looking like!
