questions-- please help!
I plan on getting 4-5 chicks in late febuary. 1. can I keep them in a large cardboard box? 2. I have a paper shredder in my office, can I use that as bedding? 3. What should I feed them, and how much? Thanks!- bstaley

Thanks to all the positive response! Eggs are the primary use for the chickens. I have 2 children, and they will be joining 4-h to show at our county fair, so they need to be friendly. Sounds like barred rock and austrolrop are good choices. I will post pix of the coup I have built, and...- bstaley
