I went in and fed her out of my hand and also gave her yogurt and water from an eye dropper. She isn't eating on her own.
She is doing something bizarre with her neck - like her head keeps dipping to the right and she has a hard time keeping it up. She still wont walk and isn't fighting being held.
My daughter didn't latch the gate to our chicken yard and our dog got in. I heard the chickens making a racket and ran out. Our dog had a chick (2 months old) cornered but not in her mouth and she came immediately when I called her. I picked up the chick and looked her over, she looked fine, so...
I think Genevieve is lovely! Do you pronounce is the French way (ZHAWN-vee-EHV)? I haven been calling her that with my best French accent and nose in the air. My husband says he is never calling the chicken that and I sound pretentious, but that just makes me do it more. :)
Well, I do LOVE that guess! LOL! This is my first experience with keeping chickens and I admit that I am obsessing a bit. I love these silly little things already. I have suspicions about Fluffers, but my fingers are crossed.
