Following! I have a 12 wk old who just started having difficulty with walking yesterday. I also just completed several days of treatment with corid. Hopefully someone can give us some insight on what might be going on.
I used a wooden stair hand rail and it has worked great. It is bigger around than a closet pole, is rounded for comfort and easy gripping and is smooth. I have mine all at one level, but there is still some squabbling every night.
Sometimes waiting for eggs seems to take forever but when you buy them as chicks they definitely become more bonded to you. I bought 4 chickens as pullets and 1 1/2 yrs later they are still spookier than the rest always staying just out of reach. If I want to check them over I have to wait till...
Last night we had a horendous thunder/lightening storm. This morning when I went out to the coop i found one of my pullets dead in one of the nest boxes. She was fine and up on the roost when I closed her up for the night with the other girls She was showing no signs of illness. Does anyone...
Last night we had a horrific thunder and lightning storm, in the morning I found one of my girls dead in one of the nesting boxes. First off not one my girls ever sleeps in the nesting boxes, so to find her in the box in the morning was a surprise. When she went to bed last night she was...
