I thought the older it got I would figure out what it was but that's not going to well. I got this one from my son's class project. Please help me identify the breed. Thanks
I got this chick from my sons first grade class that hatched them this year. I've identified all the other ones with no problem but this one has got me stumped. There is also an identical one except black in color if that helps.
Following. I went from feet to acres last year and the best advice I can pass on is to take it slow and start small. Don't plant more then you Can take care of
I'm glad to have found this information as I am a hard working father of 6 growing boys that gets food assistance and avidly grows a garden. Although I wish I would have found this before I purchased all my seeds and plants, I will definitley remember this next year!
I plan I'm planting some Ambrosia sweet corn later this week. It said it's safe with all varieties of sweet corn. Is there any kinds that I can't plant with or near it that won't be cross pollinated? I'm new to planting sweet corn on my own so any advice is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance
I've purchased quite a few chicks from my local Rural King and am very satisfied with them. I got a few white leghorns Rir's barred rocks easter eggers and a couple pekin and inform runner ducks. The only complaint I have is that there were alot of cockerels and they were all purchased as pullets
I agree. Too many people blame the stores for the quality of the chicks. Like you said their hatchery chicksnot Tractor Supply chicks. I've had better success rates with chicks and ducks from TSC than I have with hatchery and breeders
