Hello, I'm in Albuquerque right now, need to find a home for a rooster and his very smart daughter. I just want them to go to a good home with other chickens. The older chickens in the flock are going to a sedate home where they can live out the rest of their days, but Rafael needs a flock and...
If you want to introduce a new bloodline into your flock, this is a very healthy, white/red beautiful rooster who has historically produced large, healthy babies, along with one of his daughters. I am moving in a little over a week and they cannot come with me. He is very sweet, gentle, and...
Okay, so 2 older girls have home, but still need to place rooster and hen. I know its hard to introduce one hen into a flock but she is a pretty intelligent strong-willed hen. Very smart, only hen I've ever had that leaves the yard and visits neighbors, etc. That is a picture of the white...

How is Tijeras for homesteading? I need to keep my job but would love to get out of the city and on more land than I have now? Are you getting any rain up there?
Okay, I'm in Albuquerque. I have a beautiful white and rust rooster (Aloha breed?). He's huge, very sweet, will eat out of your hands, and is extremely protective of his flock. He is also a very enthusiastic crower. My neighbors are complaining. He's also too big for some of my hens. I...
