    BANTAM COCHINS CLUB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wish I knew. I was hoping to get a good solid answer, but it still seems shady for what the color is supposed to be. Maybe someone with the APA Standard "book" will chime in and finally rest my mind.

    BANTAM COCHINS CLUB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm pretty sure I've seen every Googled picture that's out there. What "I think" the proper color should be is like the one in your 1st pic Violetsfeathers. But where does it show or tell you exactly what the Partridge pattern is?

    BANTAM COCHINS CLUB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It does look familiar, for a LF/Standard Partridge Cochin. But I'm looking for something that tells me or shows me what the bantams should look like. I have Googled Bantam Partridge Cochin rooster and I get so many different color patterns.

    BANTAM COCHINS CLUB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Could someone please tell me or show me what a proper Bantam Partridge Cochin Cock looks like? I have been looking off & on for about 2 years for a rooster for my 4 girls and I've been unsuccessful. People keep trying to sell me birds that look like brown-reds. Is there somewhere that shows...

Extremely Thin & Lethargic Bantam Cochin Hen

She is moving to Texas on the 26th and isn't able to transport her chickens across the many state lines so she is leaving them here. The people that are leasing her pastures will be taking care of them and she hopes they will still be there when she returns in 3 years, but I feel it is highly...

Extremely Thin & Lethargic Bantam Cochin Hen

I picked up a very thin & extremely lethargic bantam cochin hen from a friends house yesterday. She didn't think she was going to make it ,but told me I could have her if I wanted to try to save her. Of course I'm gonna try! Her cochins are kept in a coop and their fan stopped working so it was...

    Chickens won't lay

Ok Sis, the older hen is starting her 2nd laying season so that would make her about 1 1/2 and the younger one I just hatched out last Spring so she is just starting her 1st full laying season and is close to +/- 1 year. A buff orpington hen is no where near totally done at 2 years old! This is...

Silkie hen with huge lump on her cheek.

I did end up lancing it and I was able to get A LOT of the yellow cheesy stuff out of it, but couldn't get it all. She seemed to be getting weak and I didn't want to push her too far and lose her. I was just going to go with the homeopathic route, but was going to go ahead and get some...

Silkie hen with huge lump on her cheek.

Thank you both. I'm hoping to take care of this tomorrow. I need an extra pair of patient hands to help with holding her still. I'll be sure to post back with how it goes. Thanks again, I appreciate the feedback.

Silkie hen with huge lump on her cheek.

Thank you realsis. I appreciate your feedback. I have seen the procedure done on a peacock but it was nowhere near the size of this. I just did bumblefoot surgery on one of our black sexlinks so I'm pretty sure I can handle it. The only thing that i worry about is it being on her face. I can't...

Silkie hen with huge lump on her cheek.

I have a silkie hen that's less than a year old who has a huge lump on her cheek. I noticed it about 2 months ago & brought her inside & have treated her off & on with Durimycin-10 but it just seems to be getting bigger. She acts perfectly fine and her poo is fine too. I am thinking that I need...
