    Hey, yeah they should be fine, you never know exactly when they will arrive some chicks hatch early, some late! The 21 day's is a guideline they won't all hatch on that day :-) and congrats :-)

    thanks, to be honest I'm not a 100% sure what breed she is :-) I got her from a guy who breeds and shows chickens, she wasn't good enough so he was re-homing her! She's very happy now that she has some chicks to look after :-)

    Help, not sure any of these eggs are going to hatch.

    I had 3 eggs in a small rcom incubator and I had one chick hatch early and the other two showed no signs or no pip at day 20 but both did pip midway through day 21 and all three eggs hatched successfully' don't panic yet, you may have late arrivals - some don't pip until 22/23 day in some cases...

    Thanks :-) yeah I have a coloured bulb as it still gives the same amount of heat off but isn't as bright! Now idea why too much light can cause bullying, I just read it in one of by chicken books :-)

    I have also read in many books as well that too much 'unnatural' light in a brooder can also cause bullying! But congrats! I just had my first chick hatch last night :-)
