Please help identify breed (and gender?) of my Miracle Bird :)

Hi all :) At this point I'm pretty sure Twitter is a girl. :D BUT, I do wonder sometimes because she loves to attack my shoes when I walk around by her. She's not super aggressive, but still...puts some doubt in my mind. She still jumps on me and loves to cuddle and stuff though. Follows me...

    Coconut's Comb...does this mean she's a rooster?

Coconut is now 9 1/2 weeks old. Here are a few pictures I took of her a couple of days ago. Just wondering if these help to determine gender? I took these for my niece, who is dying to have a house rooster (lol), and I've promised her dibs on Coconut if she is a he. But, I really don't wanna...

I guess I've been lucky then, cause my birds don't seem to notice at all. :) I'm thinking about zip ties, but I wonder if they would cause any stress or be more obvious for the others to peck at?

Please help identify breed (and gender?) of my Miracle Bird :)

It does rub off, but has been lasting my birds about 2 weeks or more before needing a touch up. Not too bad. :) But I did see some neon colored zip ties at a dollar store recently, maybe I'll try those next. Would the bright colors be bad though? Hmmmm......

Please help identify breed (and gender?) of my Miracle Bird :)

I'm happy to know I could help a little. :) My kids and I puzzled over how we would tell them apart the first week, and one day I was painting my nails and it occurred to me that could work on them! Plus they look super cute with their little manicures! lol

Thank you ScratchNpeck and CCCCCCHICKENS! I sure hope you guys are right, that would be awesome! :D egnilk66- Yes, they are painted hot pink! LOL Some of our silkies are really hard to tell apart so I paint their nails for now...looking into getting some of those bracelets soon. :)

Does the crest make a difference in sex of polish?

I have an almost 7 week old polish who is the sweetest! Jumps on our shoulders, heads, snuggles under our chin, loves to sit on our lap and preen. Of course I did spend a few weeks bringing her back to life from a bad case of wry neck, so that may have something to do with it. She was the most...

Maybe I could post more pictures of her when she's older for help in determining gender? Thanks again! :)
