Does this look like a lice or mite problem? It started on my small roo and now is on the big one. I thought it might be dried blood but they are all the same size and shape and seem to be getting more everyday. The big roo is dominant but I have never seen them fight. Small circles black in color.

Was hoping for hens, but doing a good deed. They get along well so far and are a hit with the neighbors girls. When my house is finally finished I will build a large coup and get a few hens for eggs. I could probably use a few guinea hens for tick control too since the deer are always in my yard

Thanks, they are pics of the same chicken. The second one is exactly the same color but a lot smaller in size. However the comb is about the same size as this one.

These two chickens were rescued from an apartment. Any ide what breed they are? They are a cream/white color with brown spots on the sides. Found out that one is a roo after he serenaded my neighbors for an hour nonstop.
