WTB: Frizzle and/or silkie eggs VA

I better not do that. This is the story, we are going to the beach, and I really need the eggs by Sat. because that would be to close to hatching when we leave. I am not having much luck finding eggs(bator empty)( so could I get in touch with you in the middle of May.

Large Incubator build - need help

I am proud of it, just got some flaws where I got in a hurry and fixed some things. One thing I would change, is the door. I would have a 2 or 3 piece door, for just adding water, or helping a chick. I did drill a hole in the top for adding water, and added an minnow aireator( runs on 2 d cell...

Large Incubator build - need help

I drilled 6 1/4" holes on the shelf where the water pan goes. I bought a 6" $6 dollar fan. I tried a bunch of stuff, driiled a bunch of holes were I mounted different things. It was hair pulling alot. My next bator is going to be out of oak and and a false back on it. I think it still needs a...

Large Incubator build - need help

Built myself a similar bator, not as pretty as yours, and I had the same problem. I used a GQF heat element and thermostat, I tried the heating element mounted to the top of bator, did not work, so I found a pic of a GQF bator and seen the element zig-zig in front of the fan so I cut another...

    TSC incubators ok?

They are pretty good, I would suggest to put a small pc fan in it, if it is a still air. Radio Shack sells them for around $10, or find an old hard drive, and get one out of it. It is a great starter bator, just needs alot of babysitting.

    do i need a fan?

If you find an old chager laying around, anything that is cordless, and where you plug it in the wall, look on the back and it will say something like ac to dc, then you got it. Hook up the wires, usually one wire has a stripe and the other is a solid wire, hook the striped wire to the red fan...

    do i need a fan?

Your local Radio Shack sells computer fans and they have one that is around 3-3.5" and 3/8 in thick and work good. you have to find a transformer( old charger for spot light etc).I would put a fan in it.

    fan working on lg incubator

I put one of little pc fans on the back wall of my LG and it worked fine. If you worry, than a LG will worry you to death, but in all, they still turn out good hatches, just have to babysit more. I have problems with humidty, I can hold good humidty for 2 days then have to ad water, which is...

    My first homade incubator

I built myself an incubator on the same principle as yours, but i am having an awful time heating it. I bought an GQF electronic thermostat and heating element, not there fan, I thought I had a nice fan but I can only heat it to 90 degrees. The element works nice till the fan is on, and the fan...
