    Thank you....This really helps. Do you think cracks where the doors close is enough ventilation? I am so new to this and my Wellsummer Gretta's comb looks so pale but she is molting. I guess I am over protective and a little crazy.

    My wonderful Wellsummer Gretta may have mites or lice...her comb is paler then during the summer....but getting lots of new feathers around face..you said you used DE, soil and peat moss......from garden supply? Haven't tried. Can I just sprinkle DE carefully around face? Thanks
