Well it's started! Got 5 chicks housed in my German shepherds old dog crate wrapped in weed matting and snake wire. They are in the spare room under a sheet chirping away. Now I have four weeks to finish the coop!!! Two red hens and three black hens!

I am soon going to be raising chicks and installing them in some old scaffolding and corrugated iron that I am turning into a coop. Interested in chick raising and coop construction. Photos to follow in the appropriate section! Cheers
