Omg I just ordered some from Cackle Hatchery because I wanted to breed and have a flock running around my garden. But just reading you guys messages has my heart pounding! I don't know if I can take the stress!!!
Texas Chicken Bearers I have a slight issue. I'm in a section of Texas that gets a lot of rain and a lot of wind/like a lot of WIND! What types of coops do you guys have that let the heat out covered when it rains and won't blow away in the wind?
I'm Desperate Over Here!
Ok, don't know if I should start another thread for this or not but. I hear people speak badly of the hatcheries. What's so bad about them that they stay in business?
I thought that was what I was doing by adding hay but it just made a wet mat! No trees around to get leaves (just planted some). Have to figure something out!
Second year with chickens. My first set I have given to my son-in-law and daughter. I have the second generation. I'm rebuilding the run. My question is is there a minimal height required. Though its cool to walk through the run its not really necessary. Opinions please and pics are always nice.
