    My chickens have been on duramycin for 3 days and it hasn't started working. Web are going to start sulfadimethoxine. When is of okay to start them on it? Should we start them asap or wait.?

    Thank you everyone for your help.! We have figured it was cocci and they are doing better. We lost over 20 chickens so its a dramatic loss to our flock. I'm so. Glad to find out what it was and how to get rid of it.(:

    I know it so sad. We had our most friendly chickens die on us and its sad. Sorry for your loss.

    Thanks. My mom and I are both looking and she was thinking it could be worms or parasites. We have a 4-h show tomorrow for chickens so it kinda sucks.

    We have kept them enclosed but have decided to let them out and see if that helps and put them up at night still. We are going to disinfect the coup today and clean every corner. In our coup there isnt poison they could get in.

    Ey were found on our chicken coop floor and some outside coup b inside the fence. We have an enclosed coup we put them inside at night and inside the fence during day.

    Some were laying but some were pullets. When I picked one up that was alive it like threw up., and my sister said when one we were trying to save died she threw a little bit of feed up. They couldn't stand at all they just played and twitched it shivered a bit and then died. Realsis
