    Is sneezing normal for chickens?

If your chicken/chickens are sneezing, making a squeaky noise and have a discharge that is enough to cause their beaks to get muddy then you need to speak to a vet. We had this with one of our girls and we had to give them all some antibiotics in their water for a few days. A little tip for...

    Hi everyone!

Hi. Can anyone tell me if hazlenuts are poisonous to chickens? I've got a hazelnut tree in my garden and I'm concerned when autumn comes if its going to be a problem when they fall from the tree and cause the girls harm if i let them into the garden. Thank you Habibs Hens for the info. I guess I've just got to be patient and wait a bit longer for my blue egg. Hopefully we will get one before the winter. It feels like winter in the UK at the min that's probably why she's not laying!!

Hi. I've just joined and noticed that you have a cream leg bar. I've got a cream crested leg bar who should lay blue eggs. How old was yours before she started laying? Mine is about 25wks old and no eggs yet we are all looking forward to finding our first blue egg and hope Hilda produces one soon!

    Hi everyone!

I'm new to keep chickens and never joined a forum before either! I have 5 beautiful girls 2 of which are beginning to lay. I am looking forward to talking to people about their experiences and hopefully get some advice when I am unsure if I am doing something right or wrong with my girls!
