    If you have a few roosters and 9 hens then all of your eggs should be fertilized. It would never hurt to put an unfertilized egg in an incubator. Good Luck! Mike

    If you are having trouble determining which end is the flat end, Go in a dark room and hold a lit flashlight up to the egg. You should see a little bubble. That is the fat end that goes up. Good Luck, Mike

    yes there is a breeding trio but it usually consist of one female and two males because the male is the one who sits on the eggs.

    The longest i would let mine go is a day/Two days tops. I have heard of people never turning their eggs and getting succesful hatches.

    It should take about a week before they are steady on their feet. As for food, Mine didn't start to eat until she was almost a week old.
