He is my only rooster. I had a rooster awhile back that was very people aggressive... Im hoping this guy wont be. Thanks for all your info. I greatly appreciate it.
I'm having a very hard time telling if I have any hens in this bunch of 5 chicks I hatched on Nov 9th. They are 2 months and 1 week old. Any ideas are welcomed.
Thank you!
Thank you for you response! I did not weigh any eggs or check air cells. I did some candling through out the 21 days though. Im new to hatching and have not heard of the weighing thing. I do have a way to monitor humidity. Guess I dont know as much as I thought I needed. LOL Are there any videos...
I just purchased the incubator last year. All I did was fill the water well and wet paper towel for humidity. Although I couldnt keep it up for very long before I had to rewet the paper towel. I am a newbie. I watched a few videos on YT to help.
I have a problem I was wondering if anyone could help. I purchased a Brinsea Octagon 20 Eco Incubator to hatch some small batches of chicks on my homestead. The very 1st time I used it (and my 1st time hatching in general) I thought I had done everything right filling with water, temp at 100.5...
Thank you so very much!! I was hoping they were all hens but being new to chickens I wasnt sure. I have one last one my son wants me to post. We think it is also a pullet but would like your advice.
I don't know if this matters but 7 of them chickens are 41/2 months old. I will do what sfh11 said, just give it a try. I am trying to sell 3 (a Buff and 2 GLW)
