It's my big week this week I'm anxious to see the results. It's my first ever hatch out. I've got turkey eggs under my chicken and Friday will be 28 days. If it goes past that deadline does it mean they won't hatch?

Mine are shy got them POL no eggs as of yet I may have to eat them ha ha ha I think of none of my birds as pets but as live stock.

I have my Amber link sat on 6 turkey she is pretty fat and covers the eggs well, she is seeming to be doing a pretty good job. There due to hatch mid- end of this month. This is the first time I've ever tried anything like this and am asking for any advice. I'm in understanding that the chicken...

Exactly it still has come from she chickens back end. Chickens poop where ever they feel it come on. Mine some times poo in the nest box, but I remove poo daily. I think it's all part of keeping chickens excepting the poo.

Fair enough I still don't think a bit of s**t is anything to worry about.

Nope they poop in there boxes with eggs in too. The egg comes out of the same whole as the poop anyway.
