My girls absolutely love these mealworms. Great protein for them. I get them from Amazon and the company is located in FL.
I think they are a good deal especially since they are not from China but right here in USA.

Hi All,
I had to join this thread cause I LOVE COFFEE TOO!
8 O'Clock Coffee Beans fresh ground every morning and most evenings.
Here is a link a friend sent me. It is so true. http://now.msn.com/coffee-addict-check-this-gallery-of-symptoms
I'm not sure if this will help or if it even worked but here is a link to another thread I read about a crowing problem.

Dang it! I'm a newbie and reading this post I just learned of the 4 sq ft per chicken for the coop. I have 4 hens and their coop measures 12 sq ft. They should have 16 sq ft minimum but probably more for them to be comfy.
Well I either have to a) make a bigger coop or b) get rid of one of my...
I would put on some sort of cover mainly to keep out predators but also to keep them from wondering around when I'm not home to keep an eye on were they are at.
I was telling a friend at work about how my girl, Nelly, just laid her first egg.
He asked, "How many roosters do you have?"
I said,"None."

He...
My girl, Nelly started just started laying on 8/26. Yesterday afternoon, I let all four girls out to spread their wings. I went inside the house for a minute and come back out. When I stepped outside they all came running to me and then they all turned around and ran in front of me except Nelly...
I have all hens who got along great until recently. Just yesterday I noticed that my girl, Nelly, had a sore on her comb. It wasn't there the day before. The only difference is this week Nelly started laying. The others haven't started laying. I'm wondering if the others are picking on her when...
She looks very similar to my little flock of Golden Comets except mine have lighter tail feathers where yours looks like dark tail feathers. She might be some type of sexlink hybrid. Very pretty!
I'm just a beginner and I am learning as I go too so take all of this as newbie advice. I did put mine in my room. For two reasons the dog and the cat plus I just wanted to be able to check on them when the urge hit me. In the beginning they were so little that they didn't smell bad and I kept...
Yeah. I was really excited about it. She laid another one today! It is so cool. Now I just need to figure out how to keep my oldest son from wanting to cook them as soon as they are laid.
All four of my hens hatched at the same time. What I have noticed is that Nelly's comb and wattle is a lot...
My girls are 16 1/2 week old Golden Comets. I noticed last week, that when I petted their backs they would squat which isn't something that they used to do. I thought to myself, That was strange. So I searched around on Backyard Chickens (thank goodness for this site!) and read how they would do...
