Best silver laced Wyandotte cockerel for breeding?

Orange looks like he has an upturned leader, not something I'd breed from. Pink would be my pick although they are all very nice.

Anyone know what kind of bird this is?

    Silkie--is he messy paint or a tri-colour???

Hmm okay I've been reading up on it as I'm really not familiar with the colour. Your rooster looks like a paint to me but from what I can understand your hen would have to have to paint gene as well for you to be getting painted chicks. I actually found a thread especially for painted silkies if...

    Droopy tail feathers

Update on my girl, she never developed a tail well not one that sticks up anyway. I believe it is because she's missing her parsons nose. It has not affected her in anyway, she's one of my best layers!

    Wyandotte question

Actually rose comb is dominant, so if you bred these boys to wyandotte hens with rose combs the progeny will all have rose combs but will be heterozygous for the single comb gene. This of course only applies if your hens are homozygous for the rose comb gene.

    Blue Laced Silver Picture's

Yes he is definitely blue, it is the lacing that has me stumped. He has white silver laced feathers on his chest and gold laced on his back and wings. I'm thinking that he may possibly be blue laced silver split for gold?

    I'm Stumped...Appreciate your input

hmm they all look like pullets even the wyandottes, Ruby is the only one I would question because of the redder comb and wattles even though they are not large the feathering also does not look like a cockerels. For comparison here is one of my wyandotte cockerels at 10 weeks old. His wattles...
