Found our FIRST eggs this morning, what a thrill! Two were on the coop floor and one was in the run. I just put ping-pong balls in the nesting boxes so hopefully they will figure out to lay eggs in the boxes. My neighbor is going to give me a few plastic easter eggs to use instead (more...

Hello fellow Buckeyes. Moved to Ohio from PA last year and started my first flock of reds and leghorns (11 total) this year. Even built their coop/run myself which, in my humble opinion, turned out pretty good. LOL We are anxiously waiting for our first eggs... can't wait!!!
