    I transported 17 birds today about 1/2 hour away, we have a pick up truck, my husband built a short long box out of chicken wire and wood, it had a removable cover and we bungie tied it to the truck, it was rather long so I wasn't able to shut the tail gate. It ended up costing us $3.50 a bird...
