Okay, so I'm late to the game, but I'm having the same issue.
My chicks hatched today: Day 23.
My thermometer isn't digital, so it's not particularly specific, BUT how many degrees should I increase the temp to have it hatch on the proper day?
Is there a formula? 0.5 degrees = 24 hours...
So, I'm a first time-er.
I locked everything down. Temp good. Humidity good.
Then I went out for the evening.
Came back to a temp of 34*.
The incubator is now at it's highest setting and there's no temp movement.
Is there anything I can do?
Are my chicks toast?
I'm so depressed.
Thanks all!
Redsoxs: I'm absolutely on Ravelry. Your gal can find me under 'redcorset' if she likes. It's great to connect with other knitters. :)

Hi there! I found this place recently, while researching laying hens. I noticed that all my Googled questions brought me to this site, so I figured this was the place to be.
While I had chickens growing up, I don't remember much. Other than collecting eggs, I didn't have much...
