  8. The finished product! We had a Grand Opening party.... I will celebrate anything! The girls registered for watermelon rinds, grapes & crickets. Big success. AS you can see, I strung blue yard in the open area to deter the girls from flying out & the aerial predators from flying in. So far, so good.

  10. We had no idea what we were building other than it needed four walls & ventilation. About 90% of the house is recycled. This is my baby brother on the ladder.... telling me what to do & philosophy of life... I think by the age I am at, I got a handle on life.

  11. Yes the girl child is in the pen but she s having a good time. Our fence is 5 & 1/2 feet tall. So far, nothing has been able to get out on in. Except the girl child. :-)

    Built out of mostly recycled goods, we had no idea what what was to come of the Coop de Ville. But with paint & decor, it turned into a pretty cute little home for our chicks!

    I am here in Burleson - Just south of Ft. Worth. 13 pullets & one little man named Pecker. Girl child named that poor bird when it was a week old.... Little did we know she was right about him! We have been at this since April of this year. We hope to go organic in feeding our little herd...
