    Chicks need to be shipped the day they hatch. Right before chicks hatch, they absorb the last of the yolk sack inside the egg. This keeps them well nourished for up to 3 days. If they are sent out any later than that(after the 3 day period has passed) they can become dehydrated and malnourished...

    How long can eggs be kept berore going into incubator? HELP!!!!

    Fertiized eggs should be stored at roughly 60 degrees. 75 is too hot. A basement is a great place to store eggs until they are ready to go into the incubator. Holding them no longer than a week is best. 2 weeks at MOST
