Thank you ! I'm hoping it's just #3 he looks and acts like one but 4 is definitely looking that way and 5 still has no tail feathers which I read could be an indicator for roo :/

If it was by itself then sadly its likely someone dumped it. Is it friendly? They are a great duck breed and females are excellent layers. Nice that you took the time to help it out

Well she left the nest for a little over an hr. Ate, drank & took a couple of dust baths. I read that some hens have left the nest for hrs at a time and eggs still hatched. I'm assuming with the heat outside the eggs will be ok. I guess time will tell !
