Have 2 Barred Rocks and 1 Americana. All are about 15 months old. Both Barred Rocks were very lethargic today. Would not come out of there hutch. Americana is fine. Checked them several times today, thought it might be stress from fireworks last night. Cool morning but started heating up...
I am in Louisville south of Omaha. I also have a Rooster that I am trying to rehome. If any Nebraskans are interested, I would be willing to deliver. He was sold to my as an Americauna, but I am told he is an Easter-Egger.
I am thankful for every ones input, but I really just want to find a home for my beautiful rooster who I really don't want to have to get rid of by other means.
I am new to the chicken world, but when I purchased him they were sold as Americaunas. Also the according to my research the coloring and feathered cheek muffs are in line with the breed. I am sure Easter-Egger is not an official breed.
