We used 1" and 1 1/2" screws to connect everything. The easiest way to get them apart we found was to use a reciprocating saw and metal blade to just cut the nails connecting them. A hacksaw would probably do the same thing also. Have to be careful on some of the thinner pallets as to not bust...

Only cost I had was fencing and tin for the roof. About $150.00 total. Run is 25' x 50' and coop is 6'x10'X 6' tall.
Just wanted to stop in and say hello, and thank you for an awesome site. I am new to the whole chicken thing. My mom thinned her flock and gave me 14 hens and a rooster. My wife is loving the daily eggs!
