    September 2015 Hatch-A-long!!

    Hey everybody :) So I have 8 BBS Marans, 16 Rhodebar, 9 BBS Ameraucana, 5 Welsummer, and 5 Crested Cream Legbar eggs set on September 8th. Due on the 29th. My last hatch went great but had a tragic ending with my dog killing all of the chicks so I will hopefully have a better experience this time.

    Thank you everyone for the kind words. I appreciate it so much. I took the trip up to PA yesterday. It was an 8 hour round trip ride but I don't care I got my eggs again!! Hahahaha!!! This time I even got a few cream legbar eggs along with welsummers, bbs marans, and bbs ameraucanas! Very happy...

    if it's a real araucana (very rare and hard to come by) it would lay blue eggs. it is most likely a clean faced easter egger. I've gotten them clean faced before and heard of them laying brown eggs too

    Hey guys I ended up having a great hatch. 29 out of 34 that made it to lock down. but unfortunately my dog jumped over my room gate and mauled every chick but 4 to death :( this really sucks I feel so bad for those poor little birds
