    I'm interested in raising a few Ostrich but I'm concerned about being able to sell the eggs, or newborn chicks. Is there a market to make a little money with them? Not trying to start a business but just recoup initial investment and make a few bucks here and there. I'm in NC

    Roofing?

    We used shingles on our coop, the roof is only 8'x4' so I had enough leftovers from my house and didn't have to buy them.

    I need some advice on what happened in this hatch. I had 8 eggs that were candled and had chicks growing. Went into lockdown day 18 raised humidity to 60-65% temps steady at 99-100* on day 22 heard chirping from inside egg, 24 hrs later no pipping. Waited until day 24 never heard anymore...

    Help advice needed, on day 23 none have hatched I heard chirping last night but its now been at least 14 hrs since I've heard chirping. How long do I wait before I crack these open to see what happened? At what day do you say they are dead and not going to hatch? Day 24, 25?

    It's been 14 hrs since Ive heard any chirping from inside egg on day 23, no piping from any of the 8 eggs I have. Temps and humidity have been good. Not sure what the problem is

    OK, I am on day 22 now with no chirping, no movement. I'm beginning to wonder if they are alive?? I last candled on day 14 and saw the dark spot what looked like a beak and the air sac in 8 of my 20 eggs I set, so I believe I have chicks in there. I took out the other 12 eggs cracked them open...
