I plan to slaughter and process one of my turkeys this week before thanksgiving. My issue is that I am traveling with the bird iced down. I plan to slaughter this Wednesday or Thursday wrap and keep cold until next Thursday. Would the meat still be good if kept cold for 6-7 days?? Any advice...
