    So meat is OK? I have always avoided giving meat to my hens and that was the proper way (Save for broth based items like left over stuffing or w/e). Is it advisable, ie: any benefit to it? My ladies typically get bread I break up for em, and veggies.

    OK, I see. To me, an "older" egg is anything more than three days, but none of my eggs are older than a week or so. I suppose I just need to "reserve" eggs for future boiling. Thanks!

    My hens have been laying consistently for a few months now, and we love them. My only question is hard boiled. Every egg my hens lay, when hard boiled, regardless of egg age, are darn near impossible to peel. Its like the shell takes a "layer" of white with it, and we're losing a lot of egg...

    All, One of my hens out of six lays Goose egg sized eggs, every single laying. She nests longer and longer now to pass eggs, seemingly for hours. I'd think it was egg bound, but she will eventually pass the egg. She lays a double yoker every time. I think she misses a day from time to time...
