I followed up on this feeder on a different post for some reason. If you are using pellets or crumble, I don't recommend this feeder. The pellets seem to come out the top more than the bottom, and after a few weeks the pellets at the bottom became moldy. I posted a video review at:

Welcome aboard. One tip, Vinyl Flooring. Makes clean up a bunch easier. Check your local Lowes, Home Depot etc and see if they have any remnants available. I was able to get enough vinyl flooring for my coop for $5 by asking if they had any scrap.

Yes it does. :) For now I'm cleaning it out with a stick or my fingers, but I plan to take the angle grinder and cut off the last inch or so where it closes so the bedding can fall freely out of the channel.
