What size and how many air holes did you put in it?

Hey there. I'm starting to breed and care for serama chickens. I live about a hour north of memphis tn. I got my first rooster and 3 hens the other day and I have 3 dozen eggs to be hatched out from a man in Louisiana so I am trying to start a breeding program here.

A person from another post said they are the Serama breed. They do match up on size and shape.

My best hatch was 94% bit I normally run in to 80 to 90% as well. It would be super awesome to get 100% hatch. It would be like my friend his nanny goat had 5 kids in one litter ... So the unthinkable can happen.

I hope the all hatch.

It is very exciting when they hatch. All my kids sit down and watch the incubator with a bag of popcorn when the hatch starts. Our last batch hatched 180 out of 230. And the hatch event only lasted 3 hours. I love my quail. We now have 100 in the incubator and they are due this coming Wednesday...

They were sold as old English game spangled but they aren't. I love them just the same. But I would like to know so I can increase the size of the flock . I'll post pics of one rooster and one hen. Thanks for the help.

1 rooster and 3 hens. I'm wanting to breed for sure. I think they are beautiful!!
