Hi! Im new too. I have 15 chickies that are Bout 3 weeks old. I'm in love with those little fluffs. There's so much to learn from this site. Check out the coop thread and especially the Learning center. Everyone here is also quite helpful and I've learned most from using the search function...
We started out with 3 Easter eggers.
Fast forward 4 days
We added 12. 3 well summers, 3 barred rocks, 2 cinnamon queen, 2 Easter eggers, 2 Dominique's. I HAVE GOT TO stay away from the big r.
I love them.

I thought episode 3 was the best. I was a bit confused by the first one too. The 2nd episode was, IMO quite hilarious and I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Thanks!

Hi! I'm in your general area and just read your post. (I was looking for a local hatchery. )how's your chicken adventure going? I'm hoping to start with chicks in February!:D
Noooooo! Lol! I just meant I'm sure they will quickly become more than just egg producers--just my personality type--animal lover. I am also very scared of all the "chicken math" stories I have been reading. Hilarious!
Thanks for the warm welcome!

Hi! I'm in the south burbs of Chicago and plan to start raising chickens in the spring. My plan is for eggs, but the more time I spend researching, the more I'm convinced these gals will be our pets in a hurry. Win Win! I'm so excited to have this site to help answer all my questions...
