Currently 'between' chicken flocks due to a brutal clean out by a fisher a winter or two ago. Waiting til I'm not working nights away from the farm to try again.
You really only need to be NPIP if you show birds or if you sell and ship hatching eggs, chicks or adult birds outside of the state. Being part of the National Poultry Improvement Plan is optional.

I have looked and searched and come up empty every where I turn. Every lead ends in a dead end. :(
Please, does anyone have these birds available for sale? I'd be happy to start with just a pair, honest!! (although 6 pair would probably be ideal.)
I am looking for hopefully 3 pairs to start with. any self sexing (aka sex linked or color sexed) breed of utility or meat production pigeon. I'm in Maine and am willing to pay for shipping if you're too far away for me to drive to pick up. (which you probably are.)
