    Well carcar I have locked down on right before day 20 but just watch for pips or put in an egg carton at lockdown maybe, I have heard of people who do that. I locked down late day 18 and by morning they were already pipping. Now finishing up day 19 :weeeand all 10 have hatched and 2 more pips...

    Well no twins just one chick in the egg who died shortly after the pic, these are some of the worst shipped eggs. I went from having a 90% hatch to nearly all being clear or quitters what a bummer! Hope to have a few of each hatch okay and they are all girls. Ha ha hope anybody still out...

    good to know cuz I picked up and felt it's legs up what a big juicy boy he is. Gonna have to take care of him really soon. he is funny when the food comes out he waddle/runs then lays down to eat I'm sure you know what I am talking about.

    I am on day 7 and I can't wait to candle hope my americaunas and silkies are growing. Also hope my mutts make it. I got a new incubator and not sure about temp the built in one reads 2 degrees above my other. I put it in the middle and crossing fingers. Hope you all are having great hatches.

    Okay I am back. Since I have so many boys who will be sold or dinner I ordered more silkies in colors and some Ameraucana eggs so excited.     I had the same problem and would open and then my others wouldn't make it so now I do not open and I have lots of fuzzbutts running around. Be strong you can do it once you see all your new babies it is worth it

    I have tried alot of different methods and my last two hatches have been awesome so I have a forced air with egg turner I set eggs 12 hours after arrival so air sacs can settle, my humidity is about 30 to 35 for first 18 days. I candle one time at 8 days then just make sure no stinkers...
