I love learning new things about silkies! This thread has taught me a lot and I am happy to say that my game/silkie mid hen hatched 9 babies today! Not all of the eggs were hers the other eggs were from my grey partridge and grey silkie hens and they were with a grey rooster and a red partridge...

Well bad new is that the 8 eggs I tired to hatch in my new circulated incubator didn't hatch :( but the good new is that my turken hen is laying of some eggs and has been on them for a few days now! So hopefully she'll hatch me out some chicks!!:)

Thanks for the info! My eggs have been sitting in the house for only a few days so hopefully they will be able to be put in the incubator after Sunday cause I have some already in it that are due to hatch Sunday

I'm wanting to know how long you can keep eggs out before putting them in the incubator and what temp does it have to be where you set them before putting them in the incubator?

Well I bought him last like September or October not sure when he was hatched so not sure on age but I'd say he's about a year old or so
