I am very happy with all of my chickens from Meyer Hatchery, including my two Welsummer hens. They get along great in a mixed flock and have very mellow personalities. Here is a picture of them.- suwahsen

One of my girls was attacked by a dog yesterday. I have put red-kote on her wounds but was wondering if I should put her on an antibiotic, and if so which one? Any advice would be appreciated.- suwahsen

I'm in Conway Township in Livingston County and it is very animal friendly here. If you have 2 acres you are allowed 2 animal units. An animal unit being 1 horse, or 3 pigs, or 5 sheep or goats, or 30 fowl.- suwahsen
