Would there be any interest in american games at cs and if so what colors would be interesting? I have grays, hatches, sweaters and blues. Each has slightly different color patterns.
Coyotes fur will not be good this time of year, unless u r in the u p .lve fur trapped and done nuisance control for a long time. They will be starting to shed by now and the skin changes from a nice creamy white to blue. When shedding starts the skin may not tan properly, usually leads to...
Most breeds of games are very colorful, the sunshine brings out alot of iridescent colors they are beautiful. The one thing to watch is they need to be handled more than farm breeds so they understand u are not a threat. I have one that someone before i got him must have been rough with him. I...
Games are more observant for danger than most farm breeds, also they are protective. They will protect ( there) hens with there lives. I have seen roos run hawks off when the hawk was after a hen or chick.
I handle most of my games on a daily basis no problems with weight or vigor. Personally i think any one who can should have a game roo with there free range hens.
If you have free range layers i would recommend a American game roo if you have hawks around. You just have to watch getting attached to them. They will kill themselves to protect there hens, no matter the threat hawk, or coyote. Mine are my babys even when they think I'm the threat to there hens.

I raise ags 2 or 3 birds to a cage wrapped to block the wind. Roosters dubbed, have not had any trouble with the cold so far. This cold i give them snow instead of water, water freezes so fast they get very little benefit.
Watch the bananas gave mine the squerts. Old timer i know was a fighter when it was still legal said they used to mix bananas with bread to flush there birds systems.
