They have some stuff in and under, but ignore that.
At night we cover up the wire part (which our cat sat on and broke) so they don't get to cold
Hope I help!!
Well it sounds like she's gone past the sitting stage. You can try but it sounds like she's moved onto the baby chicks. And some chickens will sit and sit and sit Until a baby comes. She probably just wants a little one now
Sounds like you have a broody hen. It wouldn't hurt to give her a baby of her own if she's feeling motherly. Or even one of the baby turkeys. But if you do that it will be hard to separate the turkey from the chicken when there older. We have chickens raise ducklings because we didn't have any...
huh! What you have there is an Arecarner (may not be spelt right) they are an amazing breed. My favourite. They can sometimes lay blue, green and rarely pink eggs!! If it's a hen. :) :D:D
With experience, they don't stop sitting. We have to move our ducks when there sitting, to make sure the ducklings make it.
I would recommend moving her and her nest (AND EGGS!) to a cooler area. :)
Maybe wait a few days more, beacause when we're hatching chicks, there always hatching most days for nearly a week. It all depends. But if it makes you feel better then put them in the incubator. (I would probably end up putting them in there if there's problems)
:jumpy
Hi!! Chicks aren't always on an exact date. Wait about a week after the due date and if they still haven't hatched, then maybe put a torch up to them and see if you can see a baby. That's what I do
Hop I helped!! :jumpy
Hi!! First off, welcome!!
Ok. It is best to have the heat lamp on a side. So there is a spot to get away from it if/when they get to hot. So like have it on the right so they can go to the left side if they get to hot.
Also if you go to a local pet shop, they can recommend one. I use one that...
