I rescued this chick from work a week a go as mother was taken by a fox, my boss said they where chicken eggs the peacocks has set on as a chciken breeder this was clearly not the case however I am completely new to peafowl and I wondered if anybody could tell me anything that would be great...
Thank you all very much for your help all the eggs where infertile so we decide to test our eating eggs (too problem) and there all fertile! Guess I picked the wrong 8 eggs! Thanks again
No just 3-6 it's in a non draft room in the house the rooms stayed at a set tempreature and the incubators stayed at 37.5 the lids been replaced if an egg has been taken out
We are completely new to incubating and have been candling our eggs and We are now at day 6 and we can't see anything I've cracked one of the eggs open (see pictures) could anybody tell us we're we are going wrong these are pictures of our eggs before incubation.

So I've just candled my 1st ever batch at day 5 and I can't see anything is this normal? Oh dear :( and our eggs are set in their side in the incubator so do I candle them sideways too I've been doing them upright is this wrong? :( help needed thanks :)
