Thanks for your help I'm a complete beginner we've had chickens for ages but we've never bred any

No just 3-6 it's in a non draft room in the house the rooms stayed at a set tempreature and the incubators stayed at 37.5 the lids been replaced if an egg has been taken out

They are light in colour and I have an auto turner

So I've just candled my 1st ever batch at day 5 and I can't see anything is this normal? Oh dear :( and our eggs are set in their side in the incubator so do I candle them sideways too I've been doing them upright is this wrong? :( help needed thanks :)
