Oh wow thanks for all the comments Well I have one each,Blue Orpington, Dominique,Black Copper Maran,and Columbian Wyandotte. And yes the grandkids named them, Snoop dog, Fufu,Mortiqu, and my Blue Orpington is Blue Moon, after her breed and the day she was born. What a crazy lot we are! Picture...- judith58

First egg how could an adult be so excited! My first time raising backyard chickens. They are the kids my pets They have helped take care of from day one when we picked them up from hatchery!!!- judith58

Eight eggs total in 4 days Just started laying at 21 weeks. Not sure who laid what. I have 1 each Black Copper Maran, Columbian Wyandotte,Blue Orpington, and Dominique! So rewarding to go out and find eggs- judith58
