    This design is working out great especially with the heat we're having now. The whole area above the wall where everyone likes to roost is open with just wire mesh.

    Well I have a leghorn, light Sussex, and 2 bantam leghorns. I'll probably never be able to get a pure breed I guess.

    I am not sure on this little white one. Her mother is a Rhode Island White. But she has blue legs. Any ideas?

    This is Thornleg, beautiful, but the schoolyard bully. Is the first one out of the coop and waits for every bird to come out and chase.

    Obviously the boys have been a little rough on her, and I'm glad we found her clutch and are happy to let her go broody. Mostly because we want more hens, but also to let her wings start to heal. Will the feathers need to fall out before the new ones come in?[/IMG]
