my girls are leaving the feathers on their backs thought it might be Mites. used mineral oil on their backs some of themare doing really wellothers are still losing featherswhat is a good remedy
I used a 66 qt clear plastic container wirh lid, i cut 3 (2 1/2) in holes along each side and 1 in each end about 4 to 6in off the bottom. Any thing that is spilt gets p/u quick by those waiting thier turn. So simple and very little to no waste it feeds 8 at a time
i have 41 hens 2 of them are game. 1 of my game hens has just gone broody and had three eggs. this morning she is in a different box and no sign of the eggs. no shells nothing wet. its 15 degrees outside or id say snake. any ideas. john
