    Actually in America it is illegal to abandon animals or release domesticated animals from your ownership, but it doesn't really sound like this person is disowning them, but it's seems like a :/ kind of situation

    At a month old they are not fully feathered they can still drown, and they still need there mom until at least 4 to 6 months

    Yeah it's a mallard :) like from a separate aviary pure bred mallard duck My grey calls are in the call pen And pictures for u That's the best picture of the little guy that I have, his mom just passed away so I'm glad I have him :)

    I just dont see why someone would do this, it breaks my heart. Please. please do whatever you have to do to stop him if u find him on your property you can shoot him for trespassing because you thought it was a robber. I really want these people stopped it is saddening to hear this happen.

    Ok and if it looks like a cut or infection here is what i do whenever this happens to me. Peroxide the wound first, and they are gonna squerm because yeah it kinda stings, then i would get some vetericin wound care and rubbing alchol mix and apply that on there. then i get a cotton ball and...

    possibly an iron or vitamin deficency, i would get some vitamins like niacine and vitamin a in him and maybe try to find so iron vitamins for poultry at your local feed store

    it could possibly be Bumble foot or maybe an infection, i would take him inside and get a luke warm bath going for the little guy, then i would try to clean his foor with water at first just so u can get a good luck at it.
