Received 2 lovely little chicks from first hatching....my gf had probs w humidity so another batch in hopefully w better luck. A beautiful little bantie and an americauna. My bf cheered me up on Sunday by buying me 6 little banties at tsc to start out so have a little group of 8 to nurture...- kym1967

New to chickens
I am new to raising chickens. My boyfriend has introduced me to his flock and I have befriended his so-called mean roosters...lol. I am looking forward to my first batch of chicks due this weekend ...they will be housed in an extra bedroom for the first couple of weeks due to the horribly cold...- kym1967
