Hi Tim. These are just a hobby though I do sell extras when I have them. Looks like you have a drosera capensis. Its actually a tropical sundew and doesnt require a dormancy. You could just take it in the house when it gets too cold and grow it under a light. Congrats on the leaf strikes!

    First try at incubating

I candled like crazy this time and I might get %100 hatch rate! I did turn the eggs 5-7 times a day and raised temps in the incubator so that could probably be the reason I got more hatches this time. Im 10 out of 15 so far with pips on 4 of the remaining 5.

Wskline- I initially had them in the cartons but found turning much easier with them just lying on their sides. Good luck!

If youre having pest problems id use imidacloprid. Its a systemic insecticide that works from the inside of the plant out. I think the bayer brand insecticides have it. I like it and its all I use for pest just a couple times a year. Your plants look healthy otherwise. Nice capensis!

    Carnivores Waking Up

Nepenthes, imo, are the least rewarding CP because of their special needs. No pitchers on a nepenthes is either too lil humidity or too lil light. Neps need lots of light and a constant higher humidity to grow at their best. Now you can acclimatize them to lower humidity but it may take...
